Continental Hospitality is looking for a driven and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team in Silver City, NM! Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel/hospitality operations
- Lead, coach, and develop front-line staff to deliver exceptional guest service
- Monitor and manage budgets, labor costs, and revenue performance
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Handle guest escalations and resolve complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hospitality or hotel management experience required
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Strong knowledge of front office, food & beverage, or hotel operations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with property management systems (PMS) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus
