Position Overview
Thrive Medical Services LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Clinic Manager to oversee daily operations of the clinic serving the Grant County Detention Center. This role is responsible for coordinating patient care delivery, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality healthcare services in a secure correctional environment.

The ideal candidate is a confident healthcare leader who works well independently, communicates effectively with custody staff, providers, and administrative leadership, and is committed to maintaining ethical, patient-centered care in a correctional setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, scheduling, workflow, and coordination of patient services
  • Supervise clinical support staff and assist with onboarding, training, and performance oversight
  • Ensure timely completion of patient care tasks, including sick call, intake screenings, chronic care support, and medication-related processes
  • Coordinate communication between medical staff, custody staff, providers, and administrative leadership
  • Monitor documentation quality and ensure accurate, timely entries in the electronic medical record
  • Support compliance with infection control, safety, emergency response, and medication administration policies
  • Assist with quality assurance, audit preparation, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Help manage supply inventory, equipment needs, and clinic organization
  • Address patient care concerns and operational issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with NCCHC, NMAC, and facility policies and procedures


Minimum Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with correctional, emergency, med-surg, or community health experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory, lead, or management experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong leadership, organization, documentation, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage workflow and staff in a secure environment
  • Comfortable working in a correctional setting with a diverse patient population
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior correctional healthcare experience
  • Experience in clinic management or charge nurse leadership
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records
  • Familiarity with NCCHC or similar correctional healthcare standards
  • Experience with quality assurance, staff coordination, or public health settings
