Assistant Operator

Albemarle is hiring for an Assistant Operator. This position is onsite and located in Silver Peak, NV.

What You Will Do

• Support Plant Operator in the collection of samples.
• Support Plant Operator in the daily operation of transfer pumps.
• Support Plant Operator in the collection of monthly information.
• Fill in for the Plant Operator as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and information to the Plant Operator.
• Communicate information weekly about shift activities.
• Assist supervisor with other duties that he/she needs to accomplish department goals.
• Assist other departments as needed to accomplish company goals.
• Work safely, efficiently, cleanly, and self consciously to keep department safety goals.
• This is a shift work position with rotating 12 hour schedules.

What You Bring

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Employee must demonstrate the ability to safely follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Employee must demonstrate the basic understanding of computer operation.
• Employee must meet physical demands.
• Employee must safely and effectively work from heights.
