Job Title: Pharmacy Administrative Secretary

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: 40hrs/wk, day shift. Per department needs
Location: Holy Cross Health - Silver Spring, MD

Position Purpose

• Responsible for administration, training and clerical support.  Acts as liaison and resource person for the department, with other departments and those from outside Holy Cross.  Ensures office runs smoothly and efficiently and monitors adherence to departmental policies and procedures.  Handles complex and/or sensitive administrative duties for the department.

Requirements:                                                                                    

• High school diploma or equivalent.  Some college preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years experience encompassing administrative functions.

• Ability to create and develop department forms, newsletters, patient information literature, and other correspondence.

Pay Range: $21.22- $31.82 USD Hourly

Pay is based on experience, skills and education.  Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.  The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
