EMR, a leader in commercial kitchen repair, has openings in our DCMV service territory for commercial service technicians. Are you looking for a high paying career with a stable and secure company? Our Service Technicians provide the highest quality service and repair to commercial food equipment while providing an exceptional customer service experience. EMR is a drug-free workplace, clean driving record required. 


$5000 sign on bonus offered for experienced technicians with a Journeyman license OR higher or 5 years’ experience in those states without license requirements. $2500 paid out at 6 months, $2500 paid out at 1 year mark.

Position Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience 
  • Licenses are a plus
  • Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years
  • Clear criminal background 
  • Pre-Employment drug screening
  • Strong mechanical aptitude (must pass mechanical aptitude test)
  • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds
  • Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places

  • 100% Tuition Reimbursement- eligibility begins after 1 year of employment & classes must be at least 50% job related material.

  • Opportunity for additional income: Safe driving award, license & trade certification bonus, profit sharing bonus, parts upselling bonus, referral bonus for hard-to-fill positions, PM contract referral.
  • Ongoing training with the potential for advanced certifications & licenses (fees paid by EMR).
  • Technical support provided by EMR Field Service Supervisor or Service Mgr.

Paid Leave:

  • 17 days PTO accrual per year – 1st year is prorated.
  • 3 days paid Jury Duty.

  • 8 holidays & 2 floating holidays per year.  Double time earned for working a holiday.
  • Paid Wellness day (paid day off to attend annual wellness physical)
