In this role, you will manage the daily and long-term scheduling for our nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, and GNAs) using Smartlinx. You will balance staffing ratios, manage shift vacancies, and minimize overtime.
- Smartlinx Management: Build, maintain, and publish master schedules, and manage daily call-offs, shift trades, and open shifts in the Smartlinx platform.
- Staffing Levels: Ensure facility compliance with state-mandated nursing ratios and daily staffing requirements.
- Time & Attendance: Review and approve timecards, track attendance patterns, and ensure nursing timesheets are compete and accurate for payroll processing.
- Onboarding: Onboard new clinical staff into the scheduling system.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for staff regarding schedule adjustments, time-off requests, and availability.
- Experience: Minimum [1-3] years of scheduling or staffing experience, ideally in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care environment.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Smartlinx scheduling software is strictly required.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle last-minute scheduling changes calmly and efficiently.
- Compliance: Deep understanding of clinical staffing ratios and labor
