Description:

Position Purpose: 

The [Nurse Senior – Clinical Documentation] works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the [Health Information Management]to deliver excellent patient care as part of aninterdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. This position is a great opportunity to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

What You Will Do: 

  • Employment Type/Shift: [ex FT/Days] 

  • Monitors and manages clinical resource consumption while ensuring clinical documentation is accurate. 

  • Provides continuity of care and review of documentation to optimize cost efficient resource utilization and maximum reimbursement. 

  • Consults as needed with the Director and/or Coding Manager especially in cases requiring policy and/or procedural decisions. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program ADN; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred.   

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State. 

  • Certifications aligned with area of responsibility preferred. 

  • Minimum [3] years of RN experience preferred.

Pay Range: $37.18 - $55.77

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
