Full Time Security Officer/Security Guard

Overview

 Synopsis

Meritus requires armed security officers in support of U.S. Naval infrastructure services. Officers are required to demonstrate high proficiency in government security and force protection operations to include, (ECP) Entry Control Point procedures, Armed Alarm Responses, Mobile Security Checks, and (RAMS) Random Anti-terrorism Measures.  

This position is for a part time Security Officer at Naval Base Kitsap.  As a full time security officer, you will be required to work a minimum numbers per month.  

Requirements

U.S. Citizen

Secret Security Clearance

Minimum of 21 years of age

May be 18 if a current Reserve or Air/National Guard Member

2 years security experience

Pass a Comprehensive Background Investigation

Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English

Pass MMPI

Pass Medical Evaluation

Pass Physical Readiness Test 1 ½ mile run in under 17:30 and 19 push-ups in under 2 minutes

Pass Drug Screen

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

DD214 (if prior service)

Valid Driver’s License

Completion of 160 Hour (NSGTC) Naval Security Guard Training Course (Company provided)

CPR/FA/AED (Company provided)

M4/M18 (Company provided)
Baton (MEB)/OC/Handcuff (Company provided)
