What is a Surgery Scheduler?
A Surgery Scheduler schedules and coordinates surgeries and follow up appointments. This person works with patients, physicians, and outside facilities to ensure accurate information.
What Qualifications do I need as a Surgery Scheduler?
A Surgery Scheduler should have experience working in a medical office, and some experience with medical coding. A Surgery Scheduler will work with medical insurances, and should be familiar with electronic health systems, scheduling systems, and medical terminology.
