Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Security Officer.
As a Security Officer at MercyOne, you will provide a physical presence for the purpose of prevention and/or detection of adverse conditions which would place the safety and security of the hospital environment at risk while protecting welfare of patients, visitors, staff and facility assets.
Interaction is with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications are often difficult or stressful in nature. Contact with others involves complex, detailed and often sensitive topics. The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with a range of complicated problem situations. Interactions involve gaining the agreement of others.
Schedule:
- Every Saturday and Sunday, every other Monday day/night shifts and holiday requirements.
General Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic Life Support and CPI within 60 daysÂ
- Law enforcement or criminal justice coursework preferred
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $17.04 - $24.70
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
