Job DetailsJob Location: Brookwood Community Church Inc - Simpsonville, SC 29681Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $15.00 HourlyJob Category: FacilitiesJob Title: Facilities Associate Hours:  Monday-Thursday 5 or 6 pm -9 pm About This Role The Facilities Associate role exists to support the day-to-day operations and readiness of Brookwood Church facilities, ensuring spaces are safe, functional, and prepared for ministry, events, and community use. In this position, you will help create welcoming environments by maintaining spaces, supporting events, and responding to facility needs. Your work will directly impact staff, volunteers, and guests by providing a clean and functional environment.   What You’ll Do Own room setups and building readiness Create a functional and welcoming environment for services and events Coordinate room setups, activity logistics, and closing procedures Support staff, group and event needs as they arise Communicate facilities needs, issues, and coordination with team members Improve processes related to setups, cleanliness, and building readiness Partner with staff and volunteers to accomplish tasks   What Success Looks Like Rooms are consistently set up accurately and on time Facility issues are quickly and effectively addressed Clean, safe, and organized environment maintained Building is secured each night while closing Strong teamwork and communication across departments   Who You Are Detail-oriented and consistent Organized and able to multitask Strong interpersonal skills Problem-solver with a service mindset Able to adapt to changing needs and schedules   What You Bring Previous experience in building services, event setup, or similar hands-on environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and execute within time constraints Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and respond effectively to changing priorities High attention to detail with a commitment to consistency and follow-through CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)   Work Environment & Expectations Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6pm-9pm; occasional Fridays and weekends to cover events or staffing needs Work Setting: On-site Pace: Steady, with peaks tied to group schedules and building usage Physical Requirements: Able to lift 45 lbs. and walk for extended periods   Why You’ll Love It Here A faith-forward staff culture, where community and purpose are part of daily work A team that values collaboration, supporting one another in action and prayer, and celebrating wins together Spiritual and professional growth encouraged and supported – men’s and women’s staff Bible studies, weekly Monday morning staff prayer meetings, and monthly all-staff meetings Qualifications
