Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Coordination in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and deliver welcoming customer service. Pay Rate: $27.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential verification and directing visitors to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff information in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
