Utility - FT, Day Shift

Creative Dining Services located on the Dordt University campus in Sioux Center, IA is looking to hire a full-time AM Utility team member.  Hours vary depending on need  with weekend rotation. (Monday, Thursday 9am -5pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 11am-7pm. Weekend rotation 11am-7pm) The Utility team member works to ensure the facility is clean, sanitary, safe and suitable for food preparation and the customer experience. The Utility team member helps to ensure equipment, tables, chairs, floors, trash bins, loading areas, and food storage areas are clean, in good working condition, and are regularly attended to. Each day is different and exciting!  

Core Responsibilities:  

• Ensures trash bins are clean and emptied as needed throughout the day.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors as needed 
• Works in the dishroom as required, ensuring all equipment, pots/pans, smallwares and servicewares are clean and safe for use
• Assists in cleaning back of house and front of house 
• Cleans and organizes the janitor's closet  

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  

•   High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
