Job DetailsJob Location: Sioux City Truck Sales Inc - Sioux City, IA 51111Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DayJob Category: Human ResourcesThe Human Resources (HR) Assistant provides essential support to the HR Department, ensuring the efficient execution of daily operations and the seamless functioning of HR processes. This role is integral to maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating payroll activities, managing benefits administration, and delivering professional assistance to employees and management. Success in this position requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity. Major Duties and Responsibilities Employee Records Management Maintain and update employee files, including personal data, performance reviews, and company property records Audit HR records for accuracy and compliance Prepare and track performance reviews Payroll and Benefits Administration Process payroll and balance monthly benefit bills Record and manage new hire benefits in the payroll system Assist with benefit implementation during open enrollment Employee Engagement and Support Manage employee milestone acknowledgments, such as birthday gifts and anniversary snacks Address employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and company practices Assist with organizing training sessions and meals QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position primarily involves office and administrative work including frequent computer use, communication with employees and management, and handling confidential information.
