Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM + Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our endocrinology team. In this role, you will support providers in delivering high-quality care for patients with hormone and metabolic conditions, including diabetes and thyroid disorders. The RN will assist with patient exams and treatments while serving as a key resource for patient education and ongoing disease management support.

You will work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient exams, procedures, and endocrine-related care visits.• Room patients, obtain and document medical histories, vital signs, and enter accurate information into the electronic health record (EHR).• Administer medications, injections, and treatments within scope of licensure, including diabetes-related therapies as applicable.• Educate patients on endocrine conditions, medications, lifestyle management, and follow-up care.• Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and patient care follow-up to support continuity of care.• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control and clinic standards.

Qualifications

• Valid and current RN licensure in the state of Iowa
• Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of Nursing
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
• For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing
