Worker II, Operations - Plant Nutrient

This position is responsible for activities associated with the receiving, storage, handling, packaging, shipping and application of raw materials, products, goods and services. Key Responsibilities include ensuring compliance and active participation in all relevant safety and environmental programs; receiving, storing, caring for, processing, packaging, distributing and applying products and services within the facility or customers location including housekeeping and upkeep; performing basic quality inspections and recording operational data; performing accurate input duties using company operating systems and programs; operating and maintaining various types of mobile and fixed equipment. The role requires developed skills through formal training or considerable work experience, working within established procedures, and completing work with a moderate degree of supervision. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 1-2 years’ relevant experience. Physical requirements include the ability to stand/sit for extended periods, frequently lift/push/pull up to 60 pounds, and climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 100 feet. Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures, with possible exposure to dust, fumes, moderate noise, and uneven surfaces.
