Falls Delivery, LLC, (https://falls.delivery/) is a veteran-owned Amazon Delivery Service Partner. We are hiring motivated individuals to deliver Amazon packages in and around Sioux Falls.

This is a regular (W-2) employee position delivering Amazon packages while driving a company vehicle (a cargo van like a Ford Transit or a RAM ProMaster), using a company mobile device, and wearing a company-provided branded uniform.

Approximate working hours are 9am to 7pm (up to 10 hours per day). Full time is typically 4 days per week, on weekdays and weekends. Part time is 1 or 2 days per week. Employees usually work the same days every week, with a consistent and predictable schedule.

Extra time (5th and 6th day) opportunities are available for high-performers.

This is a very physically demanding / athletic job. Our routes are dense, and require lots of walking (and relatively little driving). A typical route involves making 200-225 stops, and delivering 300-325 packages, at a pace of 25-30 deliveries per hour (10 deliveries every 20 minutes). You must also be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds, and of entering and exiting a delivery vehicle 125+ times in a day. If you’re not into athleticism, physical fitness, healthy eating, and getting adequate sleep, then this job is not for you.

As a Delivery Associate, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location.

This is not a job with Amazon. Amazon is a global mega-corporation with tons of bureaucracy. Falls Delivery is a local business where positive attitude, teamwork, and commitment to getting the job done matters most. The owner’s name is Zack. You will have his cell phone number and see him often.

About the job:

• Delivery Associates are full or part-time employees driving clean and modern company vehicles.

• Branded company uniform.

• 4 day work week. The same days every week.

• Shifts available 7 days per week. Generally, employees are expected to work at least one weekend day each week.

• Deliver small packages (< 50 lbs), door-to-door, from our warehouse in Sioux Falls, SD.

• Residential deliveries, with some commercial.

• Lots of walking. A typical route involves making 200-225 stops, and delivering 275-325 packages. You must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds, and of entering and exiting a delivery vehicle 200+ times in a day.

• Part of the Falls Delivery team, a high-performing and collaborative group of great people who are delivering the world to Sioux Falls.

Compensation and benefits

• $21.50 per hour base pay.

• Bonus program. Our average employee earns significantly more than $21.50 per hour worked. High performers earn more than $28 per hour worked. Target wage is $960 per week ($49,920 / year) for a four-day work week, and $1,198.30 per week ($62,311 / year) for a five-day work week. Employees are normally eligible for the bonus program after completing 30 routes.

 Basic job requirements:

• Be at least 21 years old.

• Be able to speak, read, and understand English for safety.

• Have proof of identity and authorization to work in the United States.

• Have a valid driver’s license (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is NOT required).

• Pass a 5-panel pre-employment drug test (marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, PCP). This is a safety-sensitive job in accordance with South Dakota law.

• Pass pre-employment screening.

• Be able to safely operate and navigate a delivery vehicle (cargo van), weighing 10,000 lbs. or less.

• Be able to safely lift and carry parcels up to 50 lbs.

• Be able to safely enter and exit a delivery vehicle 200+ times per day.

• Be able to successfully use delivery devices and apps to complete daily tasks.

• Be reliable, and report to work when scheduled (schedules are published well in advance, and employees usually work the same days every week).
