Department Details

Evening shift position working 8 and 10 hour shifts between the hours of 1300-2330. Drawing blood from adult and pediatric patients, entering collection information into the computer system along with using centrifuges to process samples.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.

Job Description

Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.


Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
