Position Summary

The Lead Hotel Maintenance Technician oversees the daily maintenance and repair operations of the hotel while helping ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.

Working closely with the General Manager, you'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, complete repairs, and help maintain Hilton brand standards throughout the property.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
  • Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and general building systems.
  • Complete repairs in guest rooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, and back-of-house areas.
  • Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects and outside vendors when needed.
  • Maintain swimming pool equipment and water quality (preferred experience).
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and Hilton brand standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of supplies.
  • Assist with budgeting and controlling maintenance expenses.
  • Support the General Manager with property improvement projects.
  • Help create an exceptional guest experience by ensuring facilities are clean, safe, and operating properly.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of hotel maintenance or commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general building repairs.
  • Pool maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, and in mechanical spaces as needed.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
