Tractor Assembly - Dayshift - No Weekends

 Diamond Mowers is looking for someone to join our Day Tractor Assembly team. Tasks included are mechanical assembly of framework, booms, and hydraulic tanks, electrical assembly including switchbox and joystick wiring, and hydraulic component assembly including control valves, hoses, fittings, and operator controls.  We are looking for someone who reports obstacles to the day assembly lead, pays attention to detail, is goal oriented, and likes working in a fast-paced environment. 

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assembly of  brush cutting equipment onto farm tractors or dedicated carriers.
  • Manipulates and positions heavy objects using overhead hoists.
  • Assembles mount kits onto tractors using blueprints, schematics, and operator’s manuals. Performs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies.   
  • Assemblies mowing equipment onto power unit including booms, draft beams, and various mower heads.
  • Inspects mounts for damage, verify dimensions and clearance of mounts for conformance to factory specifications. 
  • Replaces or repairs worn or damaged parts. 
  • Performs testing and final inspections of completed units using checklists.

 Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • At least 1 year assembly experience, repair work, service tech work or mechanically inclined and problem solving.  Must love working with tools and hands!
  • Able to work 10-hour shifts.
  • Forklift certified preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Heavy equipment repairs experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift, pull push 50lbs.
  • Climb or balance.
  • Stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Safely use hand and power tools
  • Ability to kneel, squat while using their hands to complete assembly tasks.
  • Able to move under power unit and work overhead while on a mechanics creeper.

Location: 350 E 60th St

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm

Days: Monday-Thursday
