Hilton Garden Inn is looking to fill our Part-Time Banquet Captain position! *Hourly wage + tips!*

Role Summary: Provide exceptional table service to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests, while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. Deliver excellent service by responding to guest requests, assisting with events, and maintaining proper care of equipment and facilities.

• Cheerfully greet and interact with guests, and take/deliver orders, including making food and drink suggestions. Build rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits and positive reviews.
• Welcome clients upon their arrival and be the point of contact for food & beverage, room setup, and audio/video needs during the event, including help plan the layout and logistics of the event.
• Manage the event floor and coordinate the food and drink service by liaising with the kitchen and service staff.
• Provide supervision, training, and leadership including customer service and serving etiquette to ensure smooth F&B operations.
• Manage team efficiency and conduct regular inventory of food and supplies.
• Contribute to smooth execution of special events, catering, or large parties while tending to the needs of the guests.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security standards, including equipment maintenance, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety documentation.
• Adhere to all food safety policies and regulations throughout the food cycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours.
 Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
 Detail oriented.
 Customer service experience helpful.
 Works well alone and with others.
