Summary

The Associate Carpenter is responsible for assisting the construction and facilities services staff with all aspects of constructing and remodeling.

Job Description

May assist with flooring, ceiling installation and systems, cabinets and millwork, wall protection, doors and hardware, wall covering removal, marker boards, tack boards, modular furniture, clocks, and interior signage. May also install cabinets, siding, drywall and batt or roll insulation. Basic knowledge of standard hand tool operation. Takes extra precautions when working in patient care areas and specifically, keep tools out of reach of children. Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Trade or Vocational School preferred.

When applicable, may need a valid driver's license. If valid driver's license is required, must maintain a good driving record.
