The Sous Chef works with the Chef de Cuisine in supervising food production for any one of our F&B outlets and our banquets/events. This position supervises the daily production of all food for the assigned outlet, assists the Chef with menu planning, inventory, pricing, cost controls and requisitioning food preparation staff, assists with food production tasks, ensures attainment of all quality and cost standards, and serve as 'second in command' of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef.Â
Our ideal applicant has at least two years of culinary experience, strong leadership and mentoring experience, can easily analyze and solve problems, is a good multi-tasker and can work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
This is a regular, full-time position. Pay is from $27.00/hr based on skills and experience. This position is also eligible for tips.
