Job DetailsJob Location: 7500 - Skokie, IL 60077Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $18.00 - $18.00 HourlyJob Shift: Second ShiftSUMMARY Raw Operator/Roaster will feed Roaster with correct amounts of quality product according to customer requirements. The process entails the following, daily set up (Inventory, Lot # Validation), maintain 5s (clean and organize), changeovers (SSOP), Batch Making (mixing ingredients, per specifications), packing (labeling, form boxes, per specifications) HACCP forms, consumption of material and RAF reporting. Raw Operator/Roaster will communicate and document efficiency standards while reporting inefficiencies to supervisor PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 路 Fill out material worksheets and validate the receipt of raw material for all material used to complete the finished product. 路 Train and instruct temporary employees. 路 Maintain cleanliness and operation of equipment, and keep work area clean and organized at all times. 路 Perform department shut down procedures. 路 Inform supervisor of any problems (equipment, material shortage, formula and employees) as they occur. 路 Have QA sign off on all product changeovers. 路 Turn work order packets into supervisor upon completion of the scheduled quantity. 路 Conduct scrap reporting according to procedures. 路 Fill out production report based on completes quantity information from line leader or packer. 路 Inform supervisor when propane tanks are low and need to be reordered. 路 Conduct daily inventory of oil holding tanks. 路 Collect temporary employee labor reports and give to supervisor. 路 Complete labor report. 路 Run efficiently and follow all procedures related to job responsibilities. QualificationsPhysical/Environmental Requirements: 路 Standing on a concrete floor. 路 Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes, and uniform). 路 Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs. 路 Required to work weekends during peak season. 路 Required to work mandatory overtime when needed. 聽 路 KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 路 High School Diploma 路 Basic math skills, such as telling time, addition/subtraction/multiplication/division of whole numbers and fractions. 路 Basic reading skills, such as reading labels, formulas, directions/ instructions and completing basic forms. 路 The ability to convert measures into weights. 路 Knowledge of percentage and ratios. 路 The ability to communicate effectively in English. 路 Mechanical aptitude
