Puget Sound Care is hiring an Occupational Therapist at our 5-Star skilled nursing facility located in West Olympia. We pride ourselves on the quality care we provide our residents and comradery of our staff. We provide both Long-Term Care and Short-Term Acute Care. We are a very family-friendly company and work around a lot of varying life schedules. This wage for this position starts at $50/hr and is negotiable based on years of experience. We currently have an opening for a FT Occupational Therapist with experience working in a healthcare setting.

What you will do:

The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides professional clinical services, carries out education and training activities, clinical consultation, supervision and administration. In performing these duties, OTs demonstrate professional knowledge of, and skills in applying a wide range of theories, principles and methodologies of the practice of occupational therapy. Specialized content areas of occupational therapy practice include, but are not limited to hand specialty ergonomics, blind/visual rehabilitation assistance technology, functional capacity examination, polytrauma, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health, driver rehabilitation, home based primary care, etc. These services are accomplished collaboratively with other members of the Interdisciplinary treatment teams, as appropriate.

Must have:

  • Must have valid WA OT license in good standing
  • Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
