Qualifications

The overall function of this position is to act as a source of information for sales representatives throughout the company, assist with local and walk in customers, and provide support with other office administration tasks for both Operations and Sales.  

 

The duties of this job will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet customers that enter the building, making them feel welcomed and valued, then proceed to assist them.
  • Answer incoming calls with proper screening to ensure customers get to the right place the first time.
  • Work closely with parts, service, and sales departments to form a cohesive team which consistently communicates and functions seamlessly in the eyes of the customer.
  • Develop strong product knowledge and gain the ability to accurately quote small jobs/equipment purchases for the walk-in customer.
  • Maintain and organize a seasonal supply of sales literature in the showroom for walk in customers.
  • Entering Work Orders into Great Plains.
  • Assisting the sales department with quoting needs while they are on the road to help insure their time is spent in front of customers.
  • Invoicing and Billing Customers
  • Becoming another source of payment for customers who are picking up parts or equipment.
  • Assisting the Operations Manager with general business needs.
