Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation of light, medium and heavy equipment including forklift.
Operation of various hand-operated tools related to steel fabrication.
Must be able to use welding equipment or the ability to learn welding procedures.
Sets up equipment including jigs and the loading of the raw material that are needed in the manufacturing process.
Cleans and maintains workstation to be used daily in the production process.
Regular, timely attendance to meet organizational needs in an efficient and effective manner.
Performs special projects or assignments as directed.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Prior forklift and operator experience a plus
Beginning level experience in MIG welding
Team oriented
Communication skills
Interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities
Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
Ability to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used
Must be able to push or pull a cart with 80 pounds of force
