Job Description:

BENEFITS START DAY 1!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         Perform routine daily maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment.

·         Develop and adhere to a preventative maintenance program

·         Working with electric motors, conveying systems, pneumatic devices, and electrical controls.

·         Participating in new systems integration and installation.

·         Assisting in facilities management and maintenance.

·         Operating manufacturing equipment and other shop equipment.

·         Basic system troubleshooting.

·         Any other assigned duties.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Six (6) years’ experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

·         Basic troubleshooting skills with ability to assist with repairs and diagnostics of advanced processing equipment, CNC, Automated welding, material handling system, laser cutting, press brakes, lifting devices and sawing equipment.

·         Knowledge of predictive/preventive maintenance

·         Competent with programming of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).

·         Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).

·         Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.

·         Experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and welding certification required.

·         Experience with MIG welders, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, general building maintenance, CNC machinery, frequency drives, overhead crane, and forklift repair.

·         Journeyman Status preferred.

·         The ability to read hydraulic and electrical blueprints is a must.

·         Must be comfortable working in/on manlifts to 35’.

·         Ability to comply with all safety requirements.

·         Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; able to handle shifting priorities and deadlines; able to properly prioritize.

·         Experience with personal computers, networking, and windows-based software.

·         Have good housekeeping habits and strict adherence to safety.

·         Take personal ownership and pride in the quality of work.

·         Ability to comply will all work-related deadlines and be available as needed for overtime.

·         Willing to assist in our areas as needed.
