Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support stripping and reclamation operations at a local mine site in Western Pennsylvania. This is a full-time opportunity offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate large heavy equipment, including dozers and excavators, in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform stripping and reclamation activities in accordance with site plans and environmental regulations
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating large dozers and excavators
- Prior mining experience required
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in a mining environment
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions and varying terrain
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
