About the Role:
MALOYA LASER INC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team in Commack, NY. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in building and assembling high-quality electrical components and systems. Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical components, wiring harnesses, and subassemblies according to schematics and blueprints
- Solder, crimp, and terminate wires and connectors to specification
- Inspect and test completed assemblies for functionality and quality compliance
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and assembly drawings
- Troubleshoot and identify defects or issues in electrical assemblies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Document work completed and report any discrepancies to supervisors
Requirements:
- Prior experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or a related manufacturing role
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency in soldering, wire termination, and use of hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Basic understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training a plus
