Groth Pain & Spine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be a critical link between our providers, insurance companies, and patients — ensuring that medication orders are processed accurately, authorizations are secured efficiently, and patients experience as little disruption to their care as possible.

What You'll Do
- Process medication orders and secure necessary authorizations from insurance companies
- Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to ensure information is accurate and complete
- Maintain thorough, accurate records of all medication authorizations and denials
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support the best possible patient outcomes
- Navigate prior authorization and appeals processes with persistence and accuracy
- Stay current on evolving insurance policies, payer requirements, and regulations
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in medication authorization or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR)
- Sharp problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with multiple insurance companies and policies
- Familiarity with CoverMyMeds
- Knowledge of pain management medications
- Experience with Medicare, Workers' Comp, and No-Fault claims
- Experience with prior authorization and appeals processes
