About the Role:
Angel Care Home Companion Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a live-in position based in Manhattan, NY. This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate, around-the-clock care in a home setting over a 7-day live-in assignment. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and monitoring throughout the duration of the 7-day live-in assignment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the supervising physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, health status, and any changes in condition
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and mobility
- Communicate effectively with family members, caregivers, and healthcare team regarding patient progress
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home care environment for the patient
- Follow care plans and report any concerns or changes to the supervising RN or physician
Requirements:
- Active and valid LPN license in the state of New York
- Prior experience in home care, private duty nursing, or live-in patient care preferred
- Ability to commit to a full 7-day live-in assignment in Manhattan, NY
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient monitoring protocols
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
- CPR/BLS certification required
