About the Role:

Purple Hearts Health Care Services is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team in Smithville, GA. Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment
Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Personal Care Aide, CNA, HHA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred
Genuine compassion, patience, and respect for clients and their families
Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients
Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations in Smithville, GA
Strong communication and observation skills
Ability to follow care plans and document services accurately
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
