Job Title: Carpenter
Job Description: We are looking to add excellent carpenters to our team as we scale our operation! This team member is responsible for producing guest-facing products and components in our manufacturing facility in Smyrna, TN. These Items include: studio components, cabinets, props, furniture and more. This team member works closely with other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy of the components they are building.
This team member will need to be proficient with the following processes:
Reading and interpreting build documents and fabrication drawings
Assembling parts coming off of the CNC Router
General woodworking
Cutting, applying and trimming laminate finishes
General assembly including installing hardware, hinges and other accessories.
Minor paint application as needed (e.g., touch-ups, simple finishes using spray paint, spray gun, or roller)
As with all roles at our company, we expect our team members to be willing to bring flexibility and a positive attitude to their day-to-day work. If we need help packing a truck, we pack the truck. If the floors need sweeping, etc.

Hours & Schedule:
Expected Weekly Hours: 40 hours with occasional overtime
Travel Expectations: None
Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Oncall: No
Job Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble Great Big Game Show components (e.g., Player Podiums, Spinning wheels and other game pieces) utilizing various materials including: Plywood, MDF, Laminate, Nominal lumber, PVC, etc…
Safe use of standard shop equipment such as: Table saws, Miter Saws, skill saw, drill press, nail guns, handheld router, etc…
Maintain accurate entries in Production tracking software for time tracking and project progress.
Contribute to component R&D processes, as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needs, and submitting requests.
Comply with all Safety Rules and regulations in alignment with OSHA standards.
Job Requirements:
Dedicated to producing high-quality work, meeting production goals, and maintaining a positive attitude.
High Attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Self starter able to operate independently.
Familiarity with basic shop equipment and hand tools and how to safely use them.
Strong organizational skills and work ethic.
Experience in tradeshow style fabrication, trim carpentry, cabinet building and general construction.
Ability to lift 75 lbs.
