As a Turf Management Associate, Senior, or Master Spray Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health and appearance of turfgrass across various landscapes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete assigned daily route which involves applying fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides to turf areas according to schedule and on properties of varying sizes and types (commercial and residential).
- Assist other technicians in the branch with tank mixing, vehicle inspections, calibrations, record keeping, and route management.
- Operate as the main point of contact within the branch.
- Spray chemicals and push a fertilizer spreader to maintain healthy lawns for our customers.
- Monitor turfgrass health and identify signs of stress, disease, or pest infestation, reporting findings to supervisors and recommending appropriate treatment strategies to meet and exceed customers’ needs.
- Complete tasks within multiple job functions including aerations crews, general office administration, tree/shrub, top dressing, etc.
- Complete vehicle inspections to comply with safety program and works to maintain a professional, safe, clean vehicle. Additionally, ensure that all spraying equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and operated safely to achieve effective application and prevent equipment malfunction.
- Operate as an effective team member and possibly train other technicians.
Required Experience, Traits and Skills
- Background in Turf Management or Spray Technician
- Strong work ethic and positive mindset
- Self-starter with good follow through
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Anticipates problems and uses available equipment and materials to meet customer needs
- Valid Driver’s License Required – License background check required
- E-Verify (I-9) required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have access to cell phone
- Must be able to withstand cold and hot temperatures, as this is an outdoor position
