About Psychological Dimensions (PD)

Psychological Dimensions is an Atlanta-based, nationwide, industry-leading police and public safety forensic consulting firm. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art psychological risk management evaluations and consultation to public safety agencies and corporate organizations nationwide. We conduct pre-employment psychological screening, wellness programs, critical incident debriefings, specialty assignment evaluations (e.g., SWAT), and fitness-for-duty assessments.

The Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking Operations Manager who combines exceptional leadership discipline with innovative problem-solving. This role is not just about keeping operations running smoothly,  it’s about building stronger systems, creating safeguards, and driving innovation that allows our firm to thrive at scale.

You will be the leader who ensures employees are supported with clear expectations, structured meetings, and measurable goals, while also bringing ingenuity, laser focus, and cutting-edge ideas to modernize our workflows. From implementing quality control checks and fail-safes for critical processes to identifying AI-driven efficiencies and operational improvements, you will be both the guardian of reliability and the architect of innovation at Psychological Dimensions.

This position is critical to ensure our psychologists can focus on client services while you strengthen the systems, teams, and workflows that keep our nationwide practice performing at its best.

Key Responsibilities

Employee/Contractor Management (25%)

  • Provide strong supervisory leadership: set clear expectations, hold weekly 1:1s, and create action plans with accountability and follow-through.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks of staff performance and workflows, ensuring processes are carried out consistently and accurately.
  • Implement checks and balances in supervisory oversight to prevent bottlenecks, errors, or dependency on a single individual.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members through quarterly and annual reviews, driving measurable growth.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of administrative and clinical roles with a focus on cultural fit and operational excellence.

Scheduling & Operational Flow (40%)

  • Ensure agency demand is met with accurate scheduling; perform daily audits and three-day forward reviews to catch and resolve potential issues early.
  • Create fail-safes and redundancies in scheduling systems to safeguard against double-booking, last-minute cancellations, or critical service disruptions.
  • Standardize scheduling processes across sites and lead continuous improvement projects that simplify workflows and reduce error rates.
  • Respond to escalated concerns with a solutions-focused mindset, working quickly to resolve and prevent recurrence.
  • Research and implement AI-driven scheduling and forecasting tools to improve capacity planning, efficiency, and service reliability.

Business Functions & Innovation (25%)

  • Partner with the Director of Operations on strategic initiatives that improve scalability and operational resilience.
  • Manage AP, vendor relations, and compliance, while conducting periodic system reviews to verify accuracy and identify risk points.
  • Develop process fail-safes and contingency plans for critical functions such as invoicing, licensing, and insurance renewals.
  • Lead cross-departmental process reviews and quality assurance checks, ensuring critical workflows are reliable, efficient, and auditable.
  • Proactively introduce technology solutions, workflow automations, and AI integrations that strengthen organizational performance.

Self-Development (10%)

  • Stay up to date on best practices in supervision, operations leadership, and quality control.
  • Regularly evaluate PD’s systems with a critical and forward-looking lens, bringing new, innovative solutions to leadership that address emerging needs and risks.

About You

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with a track record of building systems that reduce errors and enhance accountability.
  • Quality control mindset: skilled in establishing regular system audits, checks and balances, and fail-safes for critical processes to safeguard operational integrity.
