Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in the Smyrna, DE area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and piping prints to perform layout and installation work
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipe using saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, and pipe benders
- Join pipe systems using welding, brazing, soldering, threading, and mechanical connections
- Perform pipe layout and installation according to project specifications and safety standards
- Use standard PPE and fall protection harnesses as required
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment while meeting project deadlines
Requirements
- Top-level pipefitting experience required
- Must be able to read prints and perform pipe layout
- Experience with pipe fabrication and installation tools and equipment
- Must have standard PPE and a safety harness
