Covered Bridge Montessori School is seeking a mission-driven Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher to lead our state-funded Pre-K classroom within an authentic Montessori, mixed-age environment. We are looking for a humble, team-oriented educator who demonstrates instructional excellence, adaptability, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Our Georgia Pre-K program blends Montessori philosophy and materials with Georgia Early Learning Standards to foster independence, concentration, critical thinking, and strong character.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Georgia Pre-K standards within a Montessori mixed-age classroom
• Guide children using Montessori principles, materials, and child-centered practices
• Foster independence, respect, and intrinsic motivation
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse developmental needs
• Maintain compliance with Georgia Pre-K guidelines
• Collaborate closely with assistant teacher and school leadership
• Build strong partnerships with families

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Georgia Pre-K Lead Certification (or eligibility)
• Understanding of Montessori philosophy and classroom practices (Montessori credential preferred)
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
