Job DetailsJob Location: Smyrna, TN 37167Summary: The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our manufacturing systems, business systems, and data from cyber threats. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and industrial control systems, with a focus on both business and manufacturing environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing. Collaborate with IT and OT engineering teams to secure network architecture. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Manage and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity best practices. Investigate and respond to security incidents and provide detailed reports. Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats. Work with cybersecurity vendors and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) to enhance security measures and manage outsourced security services. Monitor and analyze security alerts from various sources to identify potential threats. Perform daily checks on security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly. Review and update access controls and permissions for users and systems. Maintain and update security documentation and incident logs. Coordinate with the IT team to apply security patches and updates to systems and software. Perform routine audits of network and system configurations to ensure compliance with security policies. Assist in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Provide technical support and guidance to employees on security-related issues. Supervisory Responsibilities: None QualificationsEducation Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Experience Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Competencies: Strong hands-on knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA security preferred. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001). Preferred experience in supporting Microsoft 365 cloud solutions, including Azure, Entra ID, Defender, DLP, etc. Proficiency in operating systems, including Windows and Linux. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
