We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, shipping, logistics, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of parts, assemblies, raw materials, and finished goods. This position requires strong expertise in supply chain management, domestic and international shipping, and collaboration with third-party vendors and component manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full supply chain process to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company goals.
Manage and prioritize daily procurement activities across multiple commodities. - Act as an electronics parts buyer, sourcing and purchasing components to support production requirements.

Shipping and Logistics
- Manage domestic and international shipping operations while ensuring compliance with regulations, tariff codes, and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate the movement of parts, assemblies, raw materials, and finished goods to support production schedules and customer demand.

Procurement and Vendor Management
- Create, place, and manage purchase orders aligned with MRP and production demand.
- Source and onboard new vendors, including qualification, certifications, and onboarding documentation.Â
- Collaborate with third-party contract manufacturing vendors and component manufacturers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.Â
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to achieve cost savings while minimizing risk.Â
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and contract requirements.Â
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal departments, including engineering, finance, accounting, operations, warehouse, and customer service, to align supply chain activities with business objectives. - Partner with internal teams as a trusted advisor on supply chain and procurement matters.Â
- Coordinate with operations and production teams to ensure schedules align with demand forecasts and customer requirements.Â

Inventory and Delivery Management
- Ensure the timely delivery of parts, assemblies, raw materials, and finished goods to meet production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Analyze inventory and support the reduction of excess and obsolete materials.Â

Budget and Performance Management
- Monitor and control supply chain costs to ensure operations remain within budget.Â
- Lead resolution efforts for pricing, delivery, and quality issues, escalating when necessary.Â
- Conduct supplier business reviews and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.Â

Process Improvement
- Identify supply chain bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, to increase throughput.Â

Systems Management
- Maintain data integrity within ERP systems and use data to report on metrics such as on-time delivery and purchase price variance.Â
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Â
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related role.Â
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and practices.Â
- Experience working with third-party contract manufacturers and component suppliers.Â
- Ability to build models for demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.Â
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.Â
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Â
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.Â
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Â
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the electronics or manufacturing industry.Â
- Familiarity with ERP systems and demand forecasting tools, with Epicor P21 preferred.Â
- Certification in supply chain management or logistics, such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or CLTD.Â
Work Environment
- This position may require occasional travel to meet with vendors, suppliers, or manufacturing partners.Â
