Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in daily operations and staff management.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care.
- Oversee playgroups and monitor dog behavior for optimal interactions.
- Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to pet parents.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Help implement marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling and record keeping.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pet care or animal handling preferred.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for dogs and commitment to their well-being.
- Basic knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
