Supervising Dentist - PT

Position Summary:
Supervises patient care services provided in the dental hygiene clinic.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide anesthesia to patients when indicated
Administer nitrous oxide
Manage emergency medical procedures when necessary
Monitor safety practices and infection control standards in the dental clinic
Authorize and document radiographs indicated for patient care
Authorizes dental hygiene treatment plans based on review of medical/dental history
Administer pharmaceutical medications when indicated for patient care
Perform other clinical duties as directed by the Director of Dental Hygiene
Performs other duties as assigned

Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:

•  Current dental license in Georgia

•  Professional experience necessary to understand and fulfill program goals
•  Current CPR certification/health care provider

•  Excellent oral and written communications

•  Five years of full-time dental practice experience

Classification: Exempt

Work Hours: May be part-time or full-time, vary daily and include evening/weekend hours.
