What Success Looks Like
- Utilize specification sheets to prepare daily preparation requirements, maintain par levels of necessary items
- Prepare new menu items under the direction of a supervisor
- Ensure attractive and consistent presentation of food items, both buffet and plated
- Interact with other line cooks to monitor quality, presentation and consistency of food items prepared
- Handle all needs and accommodate customer requests in a timely manner
- Set up, restock, maintain and clean food prep areas
- Responsible to ensure presentation standards are met for all hot and cold items
- Read and interpret recipes
- Conduct product inventories, order and receive product under direction of a supervisor
- Responsible for team maintenance of grooming standards
- Responsible for team adherence to standards for sanitation and safe food handling
- Responsible for all opening and closing kitchen procedures
What You Bring
Â
- Previous cooking experience required
- Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos,
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to other employees
- Must possess knife skills and the ability to adjust preparations for flavor
Native American/Alaskan Native preference applies under applicable TERO requirements
