Job DetailsJob Location: Snow Hill, MD 21863Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $50.00 - $55.00 HourlyJob Shift: DaySUMMARY Oversees the day-to-day clinical operations.  Develops an operational plan to implement approved polices, procedures, and programs for a particular facility.  Delegates appropriate tasks and provide clinical supervision on a regular basis.  Provides professional mental health services to inmates.  Performs all administrative tasks associated with the position.   RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Development and implementation of clinical programs in conjunction with the Chief Psychiatrist Provision of the full range of mental health services to assigned patients.  Services to include mental health evaluation, group & individual therapy, and crisis intervention.  All services are to be documented in the patient’s medical record Responsible for ensuring 24-hour coverage for the facility, on-call and/or on-site. Participates in treatment team activities including the development and periodic review of inmate treatment plans Reviews forensic evaluations Provides crisis intervention training to staff Provides group & individual therapy and psycho-educational groups as requested by the treatment team Administers and interprets intellectual and personality assessments when requested by the treatment team or as required by a forensic evaluation Participates in unit morning reports (at relevant sites) Subject to on-call responsibilities as assigned Promotes a positive working relationship with Health Services, mental health staff, correctional staff, and CFG administrative staff Complies with employee standards of CFG Health Systems, LLC and applicable employee standards of the facility.  Compliance includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of a working environment and personal conduct consistent with professional responsibilities, the development of harmonious working relationships, and timely notification of supervisory personnel absences from the institution Participates in the interview process of new hires Ensures the implementation of the CQI process and programs Chairs the treatment team or designates a chairperson  Complies with facility requirement to use the swipe system for time reporting purposes All other duties as assigned #INDALL QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must hold a current and valid LCSW license in the state where services are rendered.    Experience in providing services in inpatient/outpatient environments.  Experience in providing services in a correctional environment is preferred.  Must possess good interpersonal communication and leadership skills.   Must be able to interact with institutional staff, medical staff, and the agencies of the court.   Must complete a satisfactory background investigation.     PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
