JOB SUMMARY
Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino Racetrack only 10 minutes from the beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Work with an awesome team while ensuring a good time for our guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
Performs public service cleaning duties in all areas as assigned.
Perfoms trash removal and bathroom cleaning thorughout the live racing season at the racing admin building.
Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/ or executes written, verbal and/or demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in cleaning of large public areas facility preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs without difficulty, repeatedly.Â
Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time without difficulty.
Must be able to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
