Job Description
The Ski & Snowboard School (S3) Support Services Representative supports daily operations across indoor and outdoor S3 facilities to ensure a seamless guest and staff experience. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining teaching areas, assisting with student check-in and check-out, managing lunch service, and supporting rental operations. This position reports to the Support Services Supervisor.Â

Essential Job Functions / Key Job ResponsibilitiesÂ
Indoor Support Services:Â
- Facilitate equipment rentals for children, including processing transactions, collecting payment, fitting and sizing equipment, and managing check-in and check-out proceduresÂ
- Support communication between S3Â personnel and parents to ensure accurate information and a positive guest experienceÂ
- Set up and tear down indoor facilities daily, ensuring a clean, welcoming, and efficient environment for children and staffÂ
- Assist with registration tasks including placing children in classes, inputting and filing forms, and helping to locate children separated from their groupsÂ
- Follow food safety procedures and assist with lunch ordering, preparation, serving, and clean-upÂ
- Engage with children indoors when they are unable to participate outside, offering games, crafts, and encouragementÂ
Outdoor Support Services:Â
- Set up and tear down outdoor teaching areas to maintain a professional and consistent environment optimized for instructionÂ
- Maintain children’s teaching terrain, including shoveling snow, setting up signage, and installing or repairing fencing and on-mountain featuresÂ
- Assist with S3 guest check-in by greeting families, answering questions, and supporting class organization alongside Supervisors and CoordinatorsÂ
- Assist in organizing and operating ski school races, including racecourse set-up, timing logistics, and guest flow at start and finish areasÂ
- Other duties as assignedÂ
Qualifications
Education & Experience RequirementsÂ
- Must be at least 18 years of ageÂ
- High school diploma or equivalent requiredÂ
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a guest-facing, service-oriented role preferredÂ
- Prior experience working with children or in outdoor recreation environments preferredÂ
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesÂ
- Working knowledge of child supervision practices and guest service standards preferredÂ
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; general computer literacy requiredÂ
- Fluency in English required; Spanish or Portuguese helpfulÂ
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team membersÂ
- Able to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentÂ
- Skilled at maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming workspaceÂ
- Capable of safely lifting and setting up equipment and teaching toolsÂ
- Able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditionsÂ
- Demonstrates sound judgment and remains calm under pressureÂ
- Dependable, punctual, and collaborative team memberÂ
Additional Information
Work Environment & Physical DemandsÂ
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time  Â
- Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces Â
- Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistanceÂ
