Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, tailored to the individual's specific needs.
- Support clients in developing and maintaining life skills.
- Encourage participation in recreational and community activities to enhance socialization and a sense of belonging.
- Monitor health and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the supervising staff.
- Assist with medication management according to established guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment that fosters independence and empowerment.
Your compassion and support can significantly improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs!
- Previous experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals with Autism and other special needs.
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or training in special needs care (preferred)
- Previous experience working with special needs individuals is preferred.
- Active California Home Care Aide. (or willing to obtain)
- Current TB test results or chest X-ray documentation.
