Ultrasound Technologist Part-Time- Central CA

Shared Imaging is currently accepting applications for experienced, talented, customer and patient focused Part-Time Ultrasound technologists in our Central CA prison settings. Our Technologists will perform a variety of sonographic procedures and departmental support functions.

Work Schedule:

• Every other Tuesday and Thursday
• 8-hour shifts
• 8:00am to 2:30pm
• Sites:  Salinas Valley State Prison (US 101 in Soledad, CA) and Correctional Training Facility (US 101 in Soledad, CA), additional locations may be available, with travel requirements.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform high quality diagnostic ultrasound studies to vascular and echocardiography
• Produce high quality imaging while providing the highest level of patient care
• Provide a safe environment for all personnel
• Provide complete and accurate documentation of patient and scan information to the hospital/facility
• Meet the standards set forth by each hospital/facility and follow all policies and procedures set forth by such.
• Demonstrate the ability to build collaborative relationships with peers, co-workers, hospital/medical staff and ancillary personnel
• Maintain licensure and certification requirements

Ideal candidate must possess:

• Current, verifiable ARDMS (or RDMS) certification
• RVT (Preferred)
• 2-3 years experience in radiological ultrasound
• Experience with vascular and small part exams preferred 
• Must be willing to travel 

We require that all Shared Imaging LLC employees have a completed background check and drug screen on file.

The hourly range for this role is $50.00/hr. to $60.00/hr., however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
