The Warehouse/Pick Pack Associate participates in accurately and efficiently processing inventory and customer orders. Picking, packing, metering. Using inventory and shipping management systems, conducts regular audits, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory control procedures and enhance operational efficiency. This position will also leverage cross-training capabilities to support related functions within the department, collaborate closely with team members to maintain efficiency across operations, and take on additional tasks as needed to meet evolving business needs.

  • Retrieve items from designated storage locations based on order specifications, pick lists, or electronic devices.
  • Accurately select the correct quantity and type of products using handheld scanners or picking carts.
  • Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Responsible for packing Domestic (Tier 1), Hazardous (Tier 2) and International (Tier 3) orders.
  • Accurately pack products into appropriate containers, boxes, or packaging materials based on size, weight, and other specifications.
  • Apply labels, stickers, or tags to packed products with correct information such as product names, quantities, and barcodes for easy identification and tracking.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily packing targets and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Operate packing machinery, such as tape dispensers, sealing machines, or shrink-wrap equipment, safely and effectively.
  • Keep the workspace stocked with packaging materials and supplies as needed.
  • Metering packages for both domestic and international shipments via FedEx, UPS, and other carriers. 
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures while handling materials, including proper lifting techniques and hazardous material handling protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to minimize safety hazards and facilitate efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate material flow and resolve any issues or challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize workflow processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide support to other areas of the supply chain or production as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Cross-train across related functions (e.g., inventory, receiving, and warehouse operations) to ensure operational flexibility and team coverage.
  • Maintain a foundational understanding of this position and other similar roles to provide support during staff absences, peak demand, or special projects.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned, including any additional responsibilities necessary to support the success of the department and organization.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation; high problem-solving ability. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Work Environment:

  • Works almost exclusively in a Production environment, including:
  • Walk in Refrigerator
  • Walk in Freezer
  • Use of tow motor.
  • Ability to routinely lift and/or move boxes is required, some up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Working with closed chemical containers
  • Bending, standing, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head, possibly for extended periods of time up to entire work shift.
  • Frequent walking in the department and throughout the entire facility.
  • Ascending and descending ladders to retrieve or put away material safely and without limitation.
  • PPE as required.
