Job DetailsJob Location: SOLVANG, CA 93463Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $23.00 - $23.00 HourlyAlisal, a luxury 10,500 private acre working Ranch and Resort in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Houseperson to join the Housekeeping team. The person in this role is responsible for cleaning main rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, corridors, offices, other work areas inside and out and housekeeping storage areas. Operating vacuums, carpet extractors, carpet shampoo machines, floor waxers, buffers, pressure washers, trash compactor. Emptying trash from waste baskets and trash receptacles and cleaning daily. Removing trash and recycling materials from all areas – public and guest rooms and placing it in trash compactor or proper recycling container. Sweeping and mopping floors. Cleaning and maintaining carpets, wood and tile floors in all areas. Cleaning and spot cleaning upholstered furniture. De-webbing inside and outside all assigned areas as necessary or assigned. Cleaning public bathrooms and restocking supplies. Cleaning all walls, woodwork, doors, frames, artwork, sills, panels, window blinds. Dusting furniture and equipment and polishing metalwork. Washing sidewalks and/or removing spots and/or stains. Washing windows, screens and exterior walls and completing any other projects/duties as directed and assigned. QUALIFICATIONS • Prior Housekeeping experience a plus. • Desire to establish outstanding, authentic, and memorable interactions with internal and external guests. • Integrity, dependability, and adaptability. • Skilled at multi-tasking, heightened attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and organization. • Commitment to confidentiality. • Ability to lift, push, and pull minimum 50 lbs. • Able to work on site and to stand, sit, walk, and move continuously for duration of shift. • Ability to work outside, indoors, in varying temperatures. REQUIREMENTS • Must be able to present proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States post offer, pre-employment. • Conditional offer subject to criminal background check. • Open availability to accommodate varying schedules as well as able to work on weekends and holidays.
